Tascam CD-GT1 Guitar Trainer

Learn, jam, and have fun with this cool musician's training tool!
Tascam have clearly identified a need for a device that will help guitar players or singers work out songs from CDs by allowing them to slow down the music without changing its pitch. The TASCAM's CD-GT1 is the ultimate training and jamming tool for guitarists, vocalists and other musicians. Whether you're just starting out on your instrument or are a seasoned pro, the CD-GT1 offers the perfect way to learn your favorite artist's techniques. However, their CDGT1 Guitar Trainer goes rather further than that, as it also allows the key of a piece of music to be changed without affecting its tempo. The guitar input has its own effects section to allow you to play along with the CD you're trying to learn.
If you can operate a CD player, you can use the CD-GT1. Take any standard compact disc by your favorite band and put it in the CD mechanism. Then plug your guitar directly into the CD-GT1's 1/4" input. Put on some headphones, set the volume, and start rocking! If you're a vocalist, you can do the same, substituting your microphone for the guitar.
Solidly moulded from alarmingly red plastic and slightly larger than a VHS video tape case, the Tascam CDGT1 can be powered from four AA batteries or from an optional external mains adaptor. It has a small but perfectly adequate LCD window to handle the CD play functions (as well as parameter editing) and a Gameboy-style four-way rocker switch for parameter access and value changing. The Display button doubles as an Escape button during editing, while Loop and I/O buttons allow two points to be marked within a song while it is playing so that these can form the start and end of a loop for rehearsing a defined section of the song. Bank and Number buttons are provided for accessing tTascam CDGT1
The CD-GT1 has 43 great-sounding built-in customizable modeling effects...you don't need to turn to external boxes for distortion, delay, chorus and more. Plus, there's a nice selection of vocal reverbs and processed sounds so you can sing along with rockers, hip-hoppers, divas and everything in between! Features: SSA (0, -8, -16, -32, -50%): Slow Speed Audition, tempo control without affecting key / pitch. 0 to -50% pitch control (in 1% steps). Single loop, all loop, and seamless in-out loop. Flash start: seamless locate and play from the cue point function. Single play and continuous play. Footswitch input for flash start or effects switching. Built-in effects: distortion (x15), clean tone (x15), and vocal (x13). Chromatic tuner. Two-way power supply: battery and optional AC adapter.

""A minor is one of my all-time favorite keys to play in. It's a very moody key, and also A is the first letter of my name. It just represents the songs through my eyes."
