Up until now all the licks that we have covered used only one pattern. This one uses three. Take note of how you get from one pattern to the next, as it will be very easy to come up with cool variations with some experimentation.

Monster Lick-

No, this is not the most shredding lick ever. The Monster part comes from the fact that you have to be able to visualize how you connect every single Pentatonic scale across the neck.





Hammer On Lick-

Here’s a lick that will give you a little taste of a semi burning pattern. It really shines in hard rock settings.





Hammer On Lick #2-

This is the even more burning cousin to Hammer On lick #1.
