Since 1998, Virginia based guitarist JD Bradshaw has recorded four instrumental rock guitar CDs on his own independent record label “Acacia Entertainment”: Caught in the Act, The Essence of Existence, 3rd Time Around, and Waiting at the Finish Line.
These releases have brought forth music product endorsements, airplay and interviews on FM and Internet radio stations from around the world, live performance opportunities, positive CD reviews, and exposure in national music magazines and newspapers. Some of JD’s hard rocking instrumentals have been heard on the 2006 Spring Beak episode of the MTV show “Date my mom”, Dee Sniders “House Of Hair” commercials, Emperor Multimedia CD-Roms “The Polishing Of Metal & The Recorded History Of Heavy Metal”, Versailles Records “Race Track Rock Volume 1, 2 and 3”, ROGG TV videos, and several rock and metal cd compilations.
He is an established solo artist, a private guitar instructor, a session player, and performs regularly in regional and national working bands as much as possible.

JD - Instrumental Guitar Rock
Scott - How many Albums do have out?

Scott - Where do you live and hang out with other musicians?
JD - Ocean City Maryland (I choose to be part of 2 music scenes) Delmarva and Hampton Roads
Scott - Where do play live and some of names of music venues that you frequent?
JD - I am currently playing in a working band called KAOTIK and play in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia / Most of the venues hold about 400 people. We also play campgrounds and private events...The band plays roughly 125 shows a year
Scott - What type of Guitars do you play live?
JD - PRS Guitars (Custom 24's,P24 and Mira models,I also use PRS SE Acoustics and a Paul Allendar model
Scott - What type of amps and effects are you using while playing live?
JD - Quilter Labs (Mach 2 series) Hardwire Delay,Hardwire Reverb, MXR 10 Band EQ and MXR Phaser.
Scott - What were your favorite recording artists and or bands as a teenager?
JD - Kiss, Ted Nugent, Van Halen, Foghat, Venom, Molly Hatchett, 38 Special just to mention a few.
Scott - Who have been your main influences on your career to date?
JD - Kiss, Ace Frehley, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, Michael Angelo Batio, Doug Marks and Wolf Marshall.
Scott - What are you listening to these days?
JD - Onslaught, Artillery, Destruction, Killswitch Engage, 80's Hair Metal, Modern Country from the 90's Black and Death Metal, Female bands of all genres..
Scott - Has the music business model of today helped you and your band or has it hindered you and your band in the way of exposure to the masses?
JD - It has helped a lot because with the high ticket prices that artists charge,I have noticed that more people are coming out to local and regional shows and having fun close to home while not breaking the bank account... Social media has been a main stay too when used to your advantage....
